5 ways to feel better when you are feeling down.


  I know sometimes it can be hard to maintain your wellbeing with everything that is going on with your life. It can get hard sometimes and it feels like there is no escape. You feel trapped in your own mind. A slave to your thoughts. Here are some ideas that might help you feel better:

1- write :
 I know you heard this many times, you may think it's silly, stupid and probably won't change anything.  Well, technically it won't change anything or make anything better but writing what you feel gives you a safe place to let go of every thought that has been going through your mind all day. The moment you get it out of your head will be a relief.

2- Martial arts:
 This might sound weird but sometimes all we need it to get all of that negative energy out of our system and martial arts are the best way to do it. We carry negative energy with us all throughout the day which will leave you with a feeling of tiredness and heaviness.

3- Diet :
 A healthy choice of what you eat can make a huge difference in your life and mental health. The way you treat your body is the way that your body will treat you, So show some love to your body. Food with rich nutritional values will help not only your mental health but also your whole body.

4- Yoga :
 Try to get out of your comfort zone and try yoga. It can be very relaxing and soothing. Yoga also focuses on breathing techniques which help a lot with clearing up your mind.

5- music concerts:
 The last one is my personal favorite.  It might not be everyone's cup of tea but if you love music as much as I do, this will change you forever. Music concerts send an enormous amount of positive energy you can feel it moving through your body. Enthusiasm, happiness and excitement, you will feel all these emotions at once and trust me it will give you one hell of an adrenaline dose enough for you to clear up your mind for a hot minute.
